About this book
This research dissertation on the "Dasam Granth" is an analytical and thought provoking study of this great work. This study is based on the detailed study of various manuscripts, the Puranic Sanskrit literature and comparison of several similarities and differences of the two texts as well the study of as almost all the books on "Dasam Granth" earlier. Dr. Jaggi concluded that the contents of the Puranic chapters of the Dasam Granth do not accord with the ideas and personality of Guru Gobind Singh and that these are the compositors of the Darbari poets like Ram and Syam. His language towards Sri Dasam Granth later changes over time, especially in his last dasam teeka. He seems to take much from Giani Bhag Singh Ambala in his book, Dasam Granth Nirnay. Bhag Singh was the son of Teja Singh Bhasaur.
