What this book is about

This is the Mahan Kosh, the monumental Punjabi dictionary first compiled by Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha, here in its encyclopaedic form covering Sikh literature. The title page identifies it as the Encyclopaedia of Sikh Literature and gives the publisher as the Lahore Book Shop, Ludhiana. Successive editions are recorded on the imprint, running from the ninth edition of 2013 through to a fifth edition of 2017. The body of the volume consists of dense encyclopaedic entries on Sikh writers, works and subjects.
