Volume IV, Part I of the collected works of Bhai Vir Singh, being the Sri Guru Nanak Chamatkar. It is published by the Language Department of Punjab, printed by the Controller, Printing and Stationery, Punjab; the title page records a second printing of 1988 and a third of 2011, 5,000 copies at Rs 318. A foreword by Balbir Kaur, Director of the Language Department, explains that on Bhai Vir Singh's eightieth birth anniversary the Punjab government published his complete works in several volumes, and that in the fourth series Sri Guru Nanak Chamatkar and Sri Ashtguru Chamatkar each appeared in two parts, the present Guru Nanak Chamatkar having been divided into two because of its size, this first part taking the earlier material and the second part later passages.
