Prachin Panth Parkash is a work by the poet and scholar Bhai Vir Singh, the great Sikh historian and author of Sri Guru Panth Prashad, published at Ambala for 250 rupees. The text we could examine is a poor transliterated rendering of Gurmukhi, arranged in numbered sections with headings and with sections set in verse at the end of the book. The title and the author's name are clear, and the nature of the work as a historical and literary account of the earlier Sikh Panth is indicated by the title, but the substance of the chapters is not legible to us in this scan. The volume is therefore described from its title page and structure alone.
