What this book is about
Sixth volume of the Punjabi Vishav Kosh, the encyclopaedic dictionary published by the Language Department, Government of Punjab, prefaced by its then director Rajinder Singh on 12 February 1988. The preface states that this volume carries entries from 'ha' to 'Kabir', that it has had a long delay and that many figures and dates have been checked and corrected against sources, with readers invited to send in further errata. A separate note explains the ordering conventions used throughout the dictionary, and the same front matter lists the editorial team, including Rachpal Singh Gill, Mohan Ram, Jagjit Kaur, Balwant Kaur, Prabhjot Singh, Jasbir Kaur and Gurnam Singh Bhullar.
