What this book is about

A facsimile of the Puratan, the 1714 manuscript of the Adi Granth. The title page carries the year 1714, and the OCR that follows is largely a scrambled transcription of the old manuscript pages, mostly in a hybrid of Gurmukhi and Devanagari-transliterated characters with numbers run together, so neither the script nor the pagination can be made out. A table of contents does survive in a readable form, listing the sections of the manuscript with folio numbers and the opening words of each, though the spellings of those headings are corrupted beyond safe use.
