What this book is about

The second part of a Shabdaarth, a word-by-word commentary on Sri Guru Granth Sahib, printed at Golden Offset Press by the Shromani Gurbani Prakash Committee at Gurdwara Ramsar Sahib, Amritsar. The opening pages give a table of the raga-wise contents of both parts, with page numbers, listing headings such as Siri Ragu, Gandhari, Majh, Gauri, Dhanasari, Jatsari, Todi, Bairagi, Tilang, Nat Narayin, Mal(i) Gauda, Maru and Wadh(es), divided between the first poti and the second poti. The body then quotes a passage of Gurbani, sets the scriptural text beneath, and explains the sense of the words, with numbered notes and foot references directing the reader to the corresponding page of the first part where a word is discussed at length.
