This is the second issue of part ten of a modern edition of the Guru Granth Suraj Granth, a collection of Guru Gobind Singh's writings, described in the contents as published in two parts. The publisher is Bhajtar Singh Jiwan Singh of Bazaar Mai Sewan, Amritsar, with Jeevan Printers of Amritsar as printer, and the second edition is dated January 2012 with an ISBN and a price of 600 rupees. The preface states candidly that passages from Guru Gobind Singh and other poets cannot be treated as historically certain, but that this is the oldest surviving source of the Guru's history available to the editors, so some meanings remain beyond their reach and are given only to connect the thread of the narrative.
