Sri Gur Pratap Suraj Granthavali, volume 12, is the fourth part (part two, third and fourth series) of the magnum poetic work by Bhai Santokh Singh ji, published by the Director, Language Department, Punjab, at a price of 24000 rupees, printed at Arjan Printers, Chandigarh. The title page also carries the imprint of Maglian de Bhavarth Prakashni Tika and the text of Shesh, and the volume was edited by Padam Bhushan Bhai Sahib Dr. Vir Singh ji, who is also named editor of the fifth volume. The contents list reads like a day-by-day chronicle of Guru Gobind Singh ji's life in verse, moving from Megh da Pantar to Kacho Pandey's preaching, the marriage at Anandpur, the Kiratpur episode and Bhim Chand's arrival, through to references of 1747, 1748, 1750, 1751, 1752, 1755, 1758, 1759 and 1760.
