What this book is about
The first volume of Sri Guru Girartha Kosh, a Punjabi encyclopaedic dictionary of Sikh terminology and historical personages and places, compiled by Shrimat Pandit Tara Singh Narotam. The English title page names Dr Harbhajan Singh as chief editor with Mohubat Singh, Kulwinder Singh and Manjeet Kaur as editors, ISBN 81-302-0212-3, 2010. The printed preface by Tara Singh Narotam explains the plan of the work, describing it as a storehouse of the meanings of Gurmukhi terms, the Guru Granth Sahib, Sikh literature, the Guru's own words, historical gurdwaras and their appearances, and other information; most of the Punjabi body text is only partly legible in this scan.
