Sri Guru Girartha Kosh - Volume 2

What this book is about

This is volume two of the Sri Guru Girartha Kosh, an encyclopaedia of Sikh religious and cultural knowledge founded by Pandit Tara Singh Narotam and edited here by Dr Harbhajan Singh as chief editor with Mohubat Singh, Kulwinder Singh and Manjeet Kaur as editors. The title page gives the year 2010 and an ISBN, and the work is issued in Punjabi and Hindi at a stated price of 550 rupees. The body of the text is arranged in alphabetical entries under Gurmukhi headings, each set out in the form of short numbered points with references and cross-references rather than continuous narrative. Much of the scan is a poor transliterated rendering of the original script, but the structure is consistently that of a reference work meant to be consulted entry by entry.
